Sweet's Wood Furniture is a long-standing Santa Cruz furniture store first established in the 1979 as "Sweet's in the Nude". The store then capitalized on the trend to buy unfinished, quality furniture at a lower cost than finished wood furniture and then apply the custom finish yourself.
With the dawn of the Internet, the store owners found that having the word "nude" in their store name hurt their Google search rankings. Additionally, as public opinion changed over the years, the name didn't have the same innocent quirkiness as it in the 1970s and 80s. Thus, the new name, Sweet's Wood Furniture, came to be.
BFSP was hired to create their new logo, store signage, and their website.
